If your patient is no longer taking an Active Medication, it can be moved to Previous Medications and retained with their medication history.
- Move or Add a medication to Previous Medications list
- Hide Previous Medications
- Unhide Previous Medications
- Reactivate Previous Medications
Move or Add a Medication in the Previous Medications list
1. Under Patient’s Active Medications List, Click Down Arrow next to Edit button located to the right of the medication, then select Discontinue
2. In the pop window that appears, select the reason for discontinue or moving into Previous Medications list.
- Select Other Reason will prompt you to manually add a reason.
3. Click the Discontinue button.
4. Prescription is no longer active and is now displayed in the Previous Medications section.
Hide Previous Medications
1. Click the Dropdown arrow to open the Previous Medications list.
2. Click the Dropdown arrow on the Detail button, then click Hide.
3. Enter a reason in the Reason field.
4. Click the Confirm button.
- Looking back in Previous Medications, you will no longer see the medication listed.
Unhide Previous Medications
1. Click the Dropdown arrow to open the Previous Medications list.
2. Click the Show Hidden checkbox.
4. Medications that were hidden will be shaded in the Previous Medications list.
Reactivate Previous Medications
1. Click the Dropdown arrow to open the Previous Medications list.
2. Click the Show Hidden checkbox.
3. Click the Checkbox on each of the Hidden Medications to reactivate the medication.
4. Reactivated medications will appear in the Active Medications list.
