iCoreRx: Sign up for eRx Only

The registration process for eRx Only contains three parts:

Entering Prescriber Information
Uploading Documents
Identity Proofing/Verification

IMPORTANT:
Follow all registration instructions carefully as any errors will cause your Identity Proofing and Registration to fail. You will need to complete the entire registration process once you start.

Necessary Items needed to complete eRx registration

Please have the following readily available for your eRx Only registration:

1. Copy of your State Issued Id: Driver’s License (Front and Back) or Passport.

2. Copy of your NPI Number and proof of status

A screenshot of your status and the information listed just above it from the NPPES site will suffice.

Be sure the image includes your Name, NPI, Certification Date and Status.

3. Copy of your DEA Certificate

4. Copy of your State Medical or Dental License

Register for eRx Only

NOTE: This is the process for eRx Only. See Sign up for eRx with EPCS if you prescribe controlled substances.

To get started, select the Sign up for eRx Only option. This will open the Registration wizard.

Prescriber Registration Screen

1. Enter your DEA number

2. Enter your Name EXACTLY as is shown on your state-issued ID.

IMPORTANT: The only exception: If your name has spaces in it, you must enter your name here without the spaces.

For example: Mary Rose would need to be entered as MaryRose.

3. Enter your Home Address. Do NOT enter your business of practice address.

4. Enter and Confirm your Email Address.

5. Click Continue.

Upload Documents Screen

1. Click the Attach button for the State Issued ID.

2. Locate your State Issued ID from your computer and Upload.

3. Repeat process for your NPI Certificate, DEA Certificate, and State Medical License.

IMPORTANT: NPI Certificate, can be a screenshot of your NPPES, from the NPPES site

The screenshot must include the Status and everything above it.

4. Click Continue.

Identity Proofing Screen

1. After you have uploaded your documents you can begin the identity proofing process.

2. Click the Begin button. The Exostar Agreement opens.

3. Click the I Agree button at the bottom of the Exostar Agreement page.

4. Select your Country of Residence (United States is the only option).

5. Click Submit.

6. Enter an Alternate Phone (personal cell phone number) to help with identity verification.

7. Enter Date of Birth and Social Security Number (last four digits).

8. Click I Agree.

9. Answer all questions in the Identity Verification Questionnaire.

Questions are based on your personal credit profile.

10. Click Next.

11. If Approved, continue to the next section below.

12. If Not Approved or failed, continue to the Not Approved section below.

Approved

1. Click Delivery Method drop-down and select Text Message or Voice Call.

2. Select Country.

3. Enter and confirm your Cell Phone Number.

4. Click Send Code.

5. Enter the Verification Code you received.

6. Click Submit.

7. Click Complete. If you were approved and completed the process with Exostar a Congratulations screen will display.

Not Approved

If you are NOT approved and your identity proofing has been canceled, you will be given an alternative proofing method. You will either be mailed an activation code OR you will be prompted to schedule a webcam appointment.
