In this article, you will learn how to link family members together. To link 2 or more patients, such as siblings, the first step is to decide which patient will serve as the head of the family. Though each practice’s workflow is different, in most pediatric offices the youngest patient will typically serve as the head of the family since they will be with the practice the longest.
