iCoreRx: ID.me setup for EPCS Registration

EPCS prescribers must complete a verification process with ID.me that includes entering prescriber information, uploading documents, and identity proofing.

You will need the following:

  • Driver’s license or state issued ID to verify your identity
  • Your smartphone to take photos of your driver’s license or ID document and self image or selfie.
Quick Tip:
If you do not have a smartphone, you can upload a scanned image of your driver’s license or ID document (front and back) from your computer. Make sure to have the images scanned and ready before you begin.

You will also need to provide a selfie via your smartphone or webcam.

Getting Started

Verify Identity for EPCS Registration

1. Click the EPCS Registration

2. Click the Verify with ID.me button.

3. Sign in to ID.me.

If you do not have an account with ID.me…

If you already have an ID.me account…

  • Enter your Email and Password, then click the Sign In button.
  • Proceed to step 22 to enter prescriber info and verification.

4. Click to select a Verification Method.

This could be a driver’s license or state ID, a passport, or a passport card.

Please Note:
ID.me will also ask for your permission to use details from your credit profile and other public sources to verify your identity. This will not affect your credit score.
  • Upload Photos of your License or State ID
  • Upload a Photo of your Passport
  • Upload Photos of your Passport Card

5. Click the I acknowledge that I have received, read and agreed to these terms checkbox.

6. Click the Continue button.

7. Enter your smartphone number in the Mobile Phone Number field.

8. Click the Continue button.

  • You will receive a link via text to take photos of your identity document.
  • You will see a confirmation screen that a link was sent to you while you upload your photos.
IMPORTANT:
Your smartphone must have a camera and a web browser.

  • If you do not have a smartphone that meets this requirement, click the I Don’t Have a Smartphone link to upload scanned images of your documents from your computer.
  • If you do not have a smartphone, you will not be able to complete the EPCS registration process by adding the Authenticator app to your account.

9. You will receive a text message with a link to take your photos. Tap the link in the text you received to upload photos.

10. Click the Start Document Upload button.

11. Click the Take Photo links to upload photos of your document.

12. Click the Continue button.

13. Navigate back to the browser tab where you started the process when you see the Images Submitted confirmation.

14. Enter your most recent Home Address.

15. Click the Continue button.

16. Enter your Social Security Number in the Social Security Number field.

17. Click the Continue button.

18. Review your Personal Information, Home Information and Phone Number to confirm they are all correct.

19. Click the checkbox to indicate that The information is correct and Accept use of the Credit Reporting Act data to verify identity.

20. Click the Yes button.

21. Click to select a Selfie option, then follow the prompts to take a selfie via your phone or webcam..

  • Take a Video Selfie
  • Take a Selfie with my Webcam

Once the Selfie has been completed, Liveness will be verified. Click Continue.

22. Click the Begin button.

23. Click the Provider Type drop-down and select a Provider Type.

24. Enter your NPI Number in the NPI Number field.

25. Enter your State and DEA Number in the State and DEA Number fields.

26. Click the Continue button.

27. Review the information pertaining to your role.

28. Click the Continue button.

29. Click the Continue button.

30. Click the Allow button.

Once you have completed identity proofing with ID.me, you will see this image…

The next step, Grant and Authorize, is to be performed by an iCore Implementation Specialist. You will need to click the link below to submit your information.

    Practice Name (where you started your EPCS registration)

    Provider First Name

    Provider Last Name

    Provider NPI#
