iCoreRx: Pharmacy for In-House Dispensing

By setting up an in-house pharmacy, prescribers can record prescribing events for in-house dispensing.

This is helpful for prescribing physicians who need to record approvals for medication dispensation. When you set up an in-house pharmacy, an in-house dispensation option will be added as a selectable pharmacy for prescriptions. The in-house pharmacy also displays on the Location Pharmacies List.

When you prescribe to an in-house pharmacy, the medication is recorded as being authorized from the prescriber, rather than transmitted electronically, and the in-house pharmacy is saved as the patient’s preferred pharmacy.
