Linking Patients in iCoreRx (SEMI)

In this article, you will learn how to link family members together. To link 2 or more patients, such as siblings, the first step is to decide which patient will serve as the head of the family. Though each practice’s workflow is different, in most pediatric offices the youngest patient will typically serve as the head of the family since they will be with the practice the longest.

Head of the Family

Once the Head of the Family is decided, you will need to assign them as such by completing following steps:

1. Login to iCoreRx and select the Patient you need as the Head of the Family.

2. From the Patient Summary, select the Edit button in the Demographics module.

3. Then select Contact

4. Enter the Patient’s address and contact information.

5. Select the Stats tab.

6. Select the drop-down menu at Family Relationship and select Self.

7. Select Save.
