Found on the Prescription Details or RxDetails page and in the Prescription History section. The Rx buttons allow you to Resend Rx, Reprint Rx, Report Failed or Missing Rx, Cancel Rx, and Request Prior Authorization (PA).

Resend Rx Button
Allows you to re-transmit the prescription to the pharmacy. This is not available for controlled substances.
Reprint Rx Button
Allows you to reprint the prescription for your patient. This is not available for controlled substances.
Report Missing or Failed Rx Buttons
Alerts NewCrop of a prescription that the pharmacy or patient has indicated they did not receive. NewCrop will then work with Surescripts to investigate and contact you via email.
Report Missing Rx: If prescriptions show as Verified as being received by the pharmacy, yet the pharmacy states they did not receive the transmitted Rx.
- Reporting the misssing Rx flags the prescription as not received by the Pharmacy.
- Prescription will be investigated, provider will be notified on how to proceed.
Report Failed Rx: Flags the prescription as a Failed Transmission and not received by the Pharmacy.
- Prescription will be investigated, provider will be notified on how to proceed.
Cancel Rx Button
Notify the pharmacy that the prescription is not to be filled or to cancel any remaining fills.
- This feature will not be available if the pharmacy does not support the receipt of cancellation messages.
Request PA Button
Electronic Prior Authorization (ePA) is used to speed up the prescription approval process for medications with prior authorization requirements. If prior authorization is needed, prescribers can submit the necessary information directly to the patient’s health plan before transmitting the prescription to the pharmacy
